• We use 100% soy wax produced from American grown soybeans!
• We use phthalate-free fragrance oils. Some of these fragrance oils are infused with essential oils.
• We use lead-free & zinc-free cotton wicks
• We use glass jars that have been manufactured in the USA

This means our 100% soy candles and wax melts are clean burning, toxin-free, and made in the USA.

• Many big-name, store bought candles consist of paraffin wax which is made from petroleum as a by-product of making gasoline. Does that sound like a chemical you want to burn in your home? No thanks!
• Soy wax is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable!
• Soy wax is derived from natural vegetables and supports American farmers!
• Soy wax produces less soot, which means your candle will burn cleaner!
• Soy wax burns slower which means your candle will last longer!

• We use phthalate-free fragrance oils. Some of which are infused with essential oils.
• While we love incorporating essential oils into our candle fragrances, after lots of testing we have found that our fragrance oils infused with essential oils produce a stronger scent throw. Many essential oils tend to evaporate quicker when they are burned due to a lower flash point.
• We are very selective with our fragrance oils and we only use phthalate-free oils!

• Phthalates are a group of chemicals used in hundreds of products, such as toys, vinyl flooring, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, and many fragrance products. Scientists believe that when these chemicals are absorbed through the skin or inhaled, they can cause:

1. Irritation to the skin, eyes, and lungs
2. Nausea, dizziness, and headaches
3. Damage to the liver, kidneys, lungs and reproductive systems
4. Cancer

• Light My Candle Co. will never use any fragrance oils that contain phthalates.
  

• The strength of our candles vary based on candle size and scent
• Since we use 100% all natural soy wax and no additional chemical additives to enhance the fragrance throw, our candles will fill a room without overpowering it. This means our candles will be truer-to-scent and can be enjoyed by those with allergies or asthma.
• We recommend the 8oz jar candles for small spaces
• We recommend the 12oz & 16oz jar candles for medium to large spaces
• We recommend using two or more candles on opposite sides of the room for extra large spaces, or large open floor plans
